Synopsis

Shuji, once a battle-hardened soldier haunted by the vengeful spirits of those he had slain, met his end on the battlefield—only to awaken in the body of his younger self. Returned to a time before war had scarred him, when he was still just an errand boy, Shuji retained all his memories of the life he had lost. Remembering Kyo Aiyo, the comrade who had once saved him, he set out to find her at the Tiger Pit Sect. But instead of the fierce warrior he had known, he found a cheerful, innocent girl—still untouched by the tragedy that had once shattered her family and driven her to war. Resolving to change her fate, Shuji vowed to protect her this time.
