Once a talentless amateur with a string of losses, Chi-beom disappears for a week and returns a changed man, plagued by anxiety yet possessing deadly fighting skills. Unbeknownst to everyone, he was transported to ancient Greece, where he spent five years as a combat slave in brutal Pankration matches, fighting for his life daily. Now back in his original body, Chi-beom is traumatized and mentally scarred, finding solace only in the octagon. Driven by relentless whispers from his past and uncontrollable fury, he decimates opponents, rising as a force to be reckoned with. However, the world outside the ring is rife with greedy promoters and shadowy figures seeking to exploit him.
