Synopsis

In a kingdom where humans dominate the beast-like Ajin, a rigid social hierarchy dictates life and death. Rangetsu, a fierce Ajin warrior, disguises herself as a man to infiltrate the imperial palace, driven by a thirst for vengeance after her brother's suspicious death while serving Prince Tenyou. Amidst political intrigue and classism, she rises through the ranks, becoming a beast-servant despite lacking special abilities. However, the prince is not the cruel murderer she expected, and she finds herself questioning everything she believed. As Rangetsu navigates the treacherous currents of the royal court, she uncovers secrets and confronts her own repressed emotions.
