Synopsis

In a world teetering on the brink of war, a master spy known as Twilight must undertake his most challenging mission yet: Operation Strix. To get close to a high-profile political figure, he must create a fake family. Adopting the alias Loid Forger, he adopts Anya, an orphan with telepathic abilities, and marries Yor, a seemingly ordinary city hall clerk. Unbeknownst to Loid, Yor is secretly a skilled assassin known as the "Thorn Princess". Anya, the only one aware of everyone's secrets, uses her mind-reading abilities to navigate the chaotic dynamic, hoping to maintain her newfound family. As they navigate their double lives, the Forgers find themselves entangled in espionage, action, and comedy, all while trying to maintain the facade of a normal family. Loid strives to complete his mission, Yor seeks to conceal her true profession, and Anya attempts to use her powers to bring them together, though hijinks ensue. Despite the lies, a genuine bond begins to form between them. But with their secrets threatening to unravel, can this makeshift family truly find happiness, or will their hidden identities ultimately tear them apart?
