Synopsis

"Seven Times a Soldier" follows Kim Jae-hwan, a private trapped in a military time loop. Despite countless enlistments, he always returns to day one. The only clue to his predicament lies within his military diary: "It was truly the perfect military life". Now on his seventh attempt, Jae-hwan is determined to follow every order, befriend every superior, and survive the absurdities of military life to write those words and finally escape the loop. This action, adventure, comedy, and drama story explores themes of military service and time travel. The protagonist's journey is filled with bureaucracy and realistic characters. Will Jae-hwan ever find the perfect military life, or is he doomed to repeat this cycle forever?
