Synopsis

In the gritty underbelly of Shenyang, China, Cheongrim, an ethnic Korean, navigates a perilous existence within a crime syndicate. His life takes an unexpected turn when he's offered Kim Ok, a vulnerable North Korean defector, as collateral. Drawn to her, Cheongrim brings her back to his hometown, fostering a delicate trust and burgeoning romance. As their bond deepens, forces beyond their control threaten to shatter their newfound happiness. Will their love survive the dangerous world closing in, or will fate cruelly tear them apart?
